Our full-time childcare offers the finest facilities available for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Our preschool program is designed for 3-5-years old to prepare them for their all-important school years ahead. Our facility includes: All-Inclusive Tuition, Safe & Secure, Developmentally Appropriate Curriculum, Nutritious Meals and Snacks, Qualified, Caring, and Experienced Staff! Your child is a billionaire. Yes! Children are born with 100 billion neurons, just waiting…waiting for stimulation, waiting for experiences and waiting to connect. Houria Wonderland Childcare, for children from the ages of 0-5 years, provides these formative experiences for your child during this important stage of his life.We seek to stimulate and develop children’s problem-solving and reactive thinking skills through staff and child-directed activities in our daily agenda.
INFANTS
A multi-sensory approach actively stimulates and engages infants through social interactions like talking, playing, moving, singing, reading, and sign language. Nurturing and safety guide our Nursery. Soft voices, music, stimulating activities, and loads of baby yoga satisfy our infants’ gross motor skills.
TODDLERS
Language development is a key component of our Toddler program. Nursery Rhymes build phonological awareness which develops a strong foundation for reading. Group review of the Alphabet sounds and letter recognition dominate our lessons.
PRE SCHOOL
Steady as they sprout is our school mission for all of our children. The three-year-old preschoolers will thrive from daily lesson plans implemented from our Curriculum to integrate all of the learning domains. This allows us to execute a full well-rounded program.

ABOUT US
Our Philosophy
Whether your child is an infant, toddler, preschooler or school-age child, my philosophy is equal no matter what. I believe it is an educator's duty to go above and beyond safety, love, and respect. You should do your utmost to create an environment that is fulfilling, enriching and supporting of all possible learning and growing opportunities. Each child has its own unique way of learning and we educators’ must first understand how each individual child learns
Each child is an individual and needs to be treated as such. They come to us in all shapes and sizes and at all stages of development. Houria Wonderland Childcare
will guide them through these stages and build upon them. We will be looking for large and small motor development, coordination, interaction with peers and communicating in the physical domain and assisting with language and cognitive development.
My goal is to provide all of the children in my care, a clean, safe, comfortable, loving and environment, where they can play and learn. Respect toward self, others and
the environment will be emphasized. I believe in the value of both structured and flexible schedules. Structured activities will include the use of preschool curriculum, regular reading times, arts and crafts, computer time and musical activities. Outdoor play, free play, birthday parties, are some of the more flexible activities we have. The most important priority is to have FUN!
Licensed Provider
Our facility, as well as the provider, are licensed by the Washington Department of Early Learning. We commit to providing high-quality early learning experiences for children birth to 5 years old.
Safety First
Education and development are important, but we know that nothing matters more than the safety, security, and health of your child. That’s why protection and preparedness are critical considerations in everything we do at Houria Wonderland Childcare.
Infant Care
Our infant area provides the highest quality care in an environment that is designed with the parent and child in mind. While in our care, the children are stimulated through music, exercise, outdoor blanket time, facial and verbal mimicking as well as lots of hugs and tickles.
Small Class Size
Our class size is small so that each child gets more individual attention. We feel that a smaller class size is a more comfortable transition from home to the elementary school years for most children
Family Engagement
Families are a key element in our program. we do our best to engage and build a relationship with the family of each child in care. Getting families engaged in our program is a great way to strengthen relationships.
Activities
our teachers develop age-appropriate activities for the different age groups at the center. In addition, our staff will revise those activities in ways to that will maximize each child's particular needs. Our goal is to interact with each child at their level, but even though these are important we don't forget the most important thing which is having FUN!
