Thank you for choosing Houria Wonderland Child Care and entrusting us with your most precious gift – your child. I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself.
My name is Samia you can call me Mia! I believe that it is my mission to enrich the quality of family life by providing peace of mind to parents and by enhancing the life experiences of the children in our care. I am your “Home away from home” where your child can learn, play, and grow.
My goal is to provide a secure learning environment; a nurturing, creative world for tots and pre-k’s to help their minds and bodies develop; explore and challenged to learn while making friends and developing self-explore and developing self-confidence.
I have over 10 years experience being a Licensed/Certified Daycare Provider, not to mention years of experience raising my own children! Talking about children I have four wonderful children, 3 sons, 18, 14, and 10 years old and a girl who is 17. I have a wonderful husband we’ve been married for over 20 years now.
I am originally from Algeria, I studied there I got my BI degree in languages, and I came here. I Speak 3 languages, Arabic, French and English, and I also know how to use sign language to sign basic things with children, such as milk, nice, bottle, and some fruits and vegetables, and much more and I’m still trying to learn.
I have many outstanding references I am First Aid, CPR & AED certified. And I also carry a food handler permit. I have taken several STARS classes in the last 8 years. I also took Child Development Classes, Parenting Classes and Child Psychology Classes while in High School.
One Thing you should know about me I am a very kind and easy going person, I love to help other people and really enjoy all the little simple things in life!
